High Bridge in mid/late June High water
Went to the HighBridge after heavy rain the previous day, and Cought only another Smallmouth Buffalo

Water was running fast. Mike, and Jarret and myself went to the high bridge, St. paul to fish Flatheads. First mike and I tried using suckers, being that we didnt find bullheads to fish with. They were tough keeping alive, and I may have had a lite bite. When jarret showed up with Big bullheads mike switched, and after a while i also did.

Mike had one run upstream from the wall/fenceline. Just outside of the swirls. He was using a good sized bully too. The hook turned into the back of the bullhead and missed the fish.

I switched to crawlers late toward the evening and had a lite run on it. Cought the smallmouth Buffalo, about 6-7 lbs guessing.

Need to wait for pics from PFL>

I've been down there a couple times this year with not much to show for it. A couple buddies picked up an 18 and a 24 the last time I was down there(2weeks ago). I do best down there when they got the discharge pumping hard out of the wall, which I haven't seen there this year in the couple times I stopped there.

I'll probably switch my focus back to the 'sippi soon, as my last couple outings were hitting spots between lyndale n shakopee.

I want to give it one last try with the water coming up.

Check out Marc's (Audemp) 6/20/2008 report. Conditions are similar as far as the water level. But it is a little later in the season and the temps are a little higher. But this is the first time in 2 years the water levels have approached the stage they were at for that night. I am not sure if I will hit it Thurs-Fri or wait until next Monday when it will crest at a little over 8'. The problem is 8' is 2' short of the 2008 conditions.
